The first public appearance of the unique collection of ballet costumes of decorator of the Royal Theatre in Torino, Leonardo Marini, dating back to the years of 1767–97. The aquarelles of Marini were accompanied by the showcase of costumes of the contemporary designers – British artist Nicky Shaw from Le Nozze di Figaro, by W. A. Mozart, dir. Keith Warner, Grand Theatre–National Opera, Warsaw, 2010, and Dorota Kołodyńska from The False Servant by P. de Marivaux, dir. Jacques Lassalle, National Theatre, Warsaw, 2009.
